4th November 2024 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light airs Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy:( Max Speed: Distance Covered: Monday 4th November - walks ** – Around Felixstowe – cloudy:(. Walk 1 – Felixstowe Ferry. Covid continues, that a couple of weeks of us both feeling under the weather now, certainly not helped by the blanket of grey hanging over Felixstowe which looks set to say the rest of the week:( Headed down to Felixstowe Ferry this morning to take a few weather pics but inspiration was in short supply with only the Autumn leaves doing their best to lift the gloom! The Ferry rowers were just about to set off up the Deben in good rowing conditions with light breezes, sadly no sign of the friendly Robin today. Mag and I had a big cook-off and made a huge shepards pie, the mood was lifted when the lovely Chris Page used one of my pics from yesterday on the midday weather forecast:) Walk 2 – Felixstowe prom. Mag and I went on our daily walk, a short stroll down to the seafront, along to the Spa Theatre and up through the gardens and home for the usual cuppa and cake:) Photo Album here |
